Маршруты восхождения на вершину Эвереста

Skier and mountaineer Andrzej Bargiel becomes the first person to climb Everest and ski back to Everest Base Camp without supplemental oxygen!

After nearly 16 hours of climbing Everest in the high-altitude “death zone” (above 8,000 m, where oxygen levels are dangerously low), Bargiel strapped on his skis at the summit of the world’s highest mountain and began his descent along the South Col route. That night, he reached Camp II and rested—the ascent of the summit ridge and the Hillary Step had taken longer than planned, meaning darkness made the descent dangerous and challenging.

The next morning, he skied through the treacherous Khumbu Icefall—accompanied by a drone flown by his brother, Bartek—before arriving safely at Base Camp and becoming the first person to ascend and descend Everest on skis without supplemental oxygen!
